Basques seeking sustainable energy solutions
In October 2008, Derek Doyle, UK Trade & Investment Officer at the British Consulate in Bilbao, set off with members of the Basque Government Department of Industry on a one week tour of the UK. The aim was to introduce the delegation to academics and researchers across the UK specialising in the field of energy storage and fuel cells.
During his visit, Derek wrote a daily blog reflecting his thoughts on the tour and documenting the reaction of the Basque visitors to the technology and projects they encountered.
