Climate change

Climate change is the biggest challenge facing the world today. The increase in carbon emissions released into the atmosphere contributes to an unprecedented rise in the average global temperature and it will have adverse effects that will be felt both in Spain and the United Kingdom, as well as in the rest of the world.

A challenge of this nature requires coordinated actions and joint responses. For this reason, the United Kingdom and Spain are working together to develop effective policies, in turn supported by innovative business initiatives which constitute the basis of a new low carbon economy.
