Our Ambassador
Dame Denise Holt took up her post as British Ambassador to Spain in May 2007. She has been with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) since 1970 during which time she has been Ambassador to Mexico, Head of the Central America Section, First Secretary in Brazil and Dublin, and Director of Human Resources for the FCO.
Dame Denise was named in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in June 2009.
