Our online visa application system, Visa4UK, will be offline for maintenance from 0900 GMT on Friday 30 October 2009 for 3 hours. You will not be able to apply online, or access your application, during this time. If you have booked an appointment through Visa4UK for either 30 October you will need to print off your appointment confirmation and a copy of your application before this date.

If you require urgent travel to the UK, for example, to attend a funeral or for urgent medical treatment, you should contact your nearest visa application centre.
