This is a tax-free annual benefit paid to anyone over the age of 60 and who is normally resident in Great Britain or Northern Ireland.

However, this is payable in Spain as long as you meet the following criteria:

• You were eligible for it at least once whilst living in Great Britain or Northern Ireland.

AND

• You left Great Britain or Northern Ireland after 1st January 1998
• You were resident in Great Britain or Northern Ireland for the qualifying week in September.
