Feedback: economic downturn

The UK Government has recently unveiled a package of measures designed to address the cash flow, credit and investment needs of small and medium sized businesses. The support package, which builds upon the commitments outlined in November's Pre Budget Report, consists of loan guarantees and a new Enterprise Fund aimed at helping companies struggling to access finance for working capital and investment. Further details can be found on The Business Link website.

The Spanish economy has also been affected by the credit crisis. The Government of Spain has introduced a package of measures known as Plan E which is designed to boost the economy and employment. Regional Governments are also introducing local packages. Further details on Plan E can be found on the Government's Plan E website.
